You've asked about Administrator access for your website, and we're happy to set that up!
Before we do, we want you to have the full picture so there are no surprises later.
Why we default to Editor or Shop Manager access
At Declet Designs, we typically set clients up with Editor or Shop Manager access. These roles cover everyday tasks like updating content, publishing posts, and managing products, and they let you work freely without any risk of touching the technical parts of your site.
What Administrator access changes
Administrator access goes further. It lets you edit every part of your website, including settings, plugins, themes, and code. That also means it's possible to accidentally break something.
If you'd like Administrator access, here's what we ask:
Only make changes you feel confident about.
If something goes wrong, troubleshooting and repair time is billed at our standard hourly rate.
Back up your site before and after any significant change.
This gives us a clean restore point if a major error occurs.
Not sure your site is being backed up?
If you don't currently have regular backups running, our WordPress Care Plans handle this automatically, or you can engage a professional to manage backups for you.
Ready to proceed?
Just reply to our email to confirm you've read the above and you're good with it, and we'll get your access updated.
